Programme structure

The Master of Headache Disorders is a professional master’s programme for health-care professionals. This master’s programme is worth 60 ECTS credits and consists of 4 blended learning courses, a clinical course and a master’s project.

Programme study plan

2 years of part-time study

The programme requires a minimum of 6 individual visits to Copenhagen, Denmark, over two years:

  • Courses 1 to 4 comprise an e-learning self-study period followed by one week of face-to-face sessions at the University of Copenhagen.
  • Course 5 is a three-week clinical course at the Danish Headache Center.
  • The master’s project is a written project. The final assessment for the project is an oral examination in Denmark. All coursework must be completed before you can start the master’s project.

This is a part-time study programme, which can be combined with a full-time job.
