Admission on continuing education programmes
The Admissions Office at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences will continue to process all applications for admission on the professional master programmes and the related master courses. We do our best to help, guide and answer your questions.
To accommodate the uncertainty following the corona pandemic, we have made a temporary cancellation policy and will try to be as flexible as possible in the admission process.
For questions and concerns, please contact us via master@sund.ku.dk
The extraordinary situation arising from the COVID-19 pandemic calls for flexibility. If you are unable to attend an upcoming course due to travel bans or workplace restrictions related to the covid-19 pandemic, you may cancel you participation after the usual one-month-in-advance deadline. In that case, you will be offered a slot on the course next time around.
This extraordinary cancellation policy will apply for courses and programmes starting before 31 January 2021.
The Admissions Office will expand its ability to issue enrolment deferral/postponement, when necessary, for students who are prevented to attend courses/programmes due to travel bans or other restrictions in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Admissions Office will continue to assist admitted students with the Danish residence permit and visa application as soon as the fee/tuition payment is received.
We encourage incoming students to start the visa/residence permit application process as soon as they receive the online application notice and/or documentation from Admission Office.
There are currently suspension of visa services in many embassies and consulates as well as travel bans/restrictions associated with the COVID-19 situation, which may delay and prolong the visa/residence permit application process. We are prepared to offer any support we can as you complete your visa/residence permit application process. However, you must continue to work directly with the embassy or consulate and keep the Admissions Office informed of the status of your visa/residence permit application.
At this time, the normal application deadlines and process is still upheld. UCPH is still accepting applications. We encourage students to apply as soon as possible and prior to scheduled application deadlines, for maximum consideration.
We are aware that many educational institutions are closed in affected areas. All prospective students are strongly encouraged to obtain qualifying degree credentials as soon as possible. The Admissions Office will consider applicants with late documents on a case-by-case basis.
Due to cancellations of TOEFL, IELTS and Advanced Cambridge tests, UCPH may, in some cases, issue conditional admission to applicants with pending admission requirements.
If prospective students are able to take a test that meets our regular admission standards prior to enrolment, we will update their admission status to unconditional/regular.
For applicants who are currently awaiting admission decision release, we do not currently anticipate that the coronavirus situation will impact our admission process or timeline. Decisions will be released as scheduled.
Applicants for the Fall Semester intake (September 2020) should pay course fees/tuition by payment deadline.
To request an extension, prospective students must contact the Admissions Office; we will do our best to accommodate you.
Kind regards,
