The Master of Headache Disorders consists of 5 modules and a Master project that gives an unique perspective on headache disorders.
It is also possible to enroll as a single course student and participate in courses of your own choosing. Upon completion of single courses the student will recieve a diploma.
Epidemiology and Diagnosis of Headache and Facial Pain
Students will learn to make the optimal headache diagnoses, to use and analyze a headache diary correctly and to assess relevant differential diagnoses.
Mechanism and Comorbidities of Headache and Facial Pain
Students will gain insight into underlying genetic and pathophysiological mechanisms of primary and secondary headache disorders and other facial pains.
Investigations and Management of Headache and Facial Pain
Students will be able to optimize diagnostic reports and contribute to the future development and validation of new diagnostic initiatives.
Organization of Headache Care and Clinical Practice
Students will learn to make optimal assessments and selection of treatment options for the individual patient.
Clinical Course at a Specialized Headache Center
Students will gain insight into work at an internationally recognized tertiary headache center, and will strengthen their knowledge about rare types of headache.
